Top 4 favourite songs to win PJ’s 20 quid music prize

As everyone may/may not know, Popjustice have announced the short list for their anual Twenty Quid Music Prize, to be celebrated in September. The list of songs nominated for the prize can be found here.

You can also apply to be a judge in the voting ceremony. I quote:

Past winners have included Girls Aloud, Amy Winehouse, Example, Girls Aloud, Girls Aloud and Girls Aloud.

Could Nicola bring this prize home again? (She picked it up when Girls Aloud won in 2009 for The Promise). Beat Of My Drum is definitely one of the most original, unique pop tunes of this year.

It could also go to The Saturdays. Higher is one of their best songs, even with that annoying contribution from Flo Rida.

Or maybe it should go to Hurts. Stay is nothing short of brilliant.

Adele is last but not least. She is also nominated to the Mercury Prize for Album of the Year.

Who is your favourite to win?
